Appreciation

Dearest Suparna,

Today was lots of fun. We tried to visit the catacombs in the morning, but it appeared to be closed. This probably explains why we couldn't book tickets for nearly any time in August - I bet this tour was on holiday. It's a little annoying that sometimes things are closed for a month (like loving hut), but in honesty, it's worth the tradeoff to see that people are spending so much time doing other great things rather than just working all the time.

Today we had 5 crepes from a total of three different places on the road. They were delicious. I could probably eat 5 more tomorrow.

I want to also give my appreciation for the velib bicycling system here. I mentioned it before, but let's just say again how great it is. The service is so cheap that it is essential free to ride bikes point to point for any short distance in Paris. Let's say that again. The service is so cheap that it is essential free to ride bikes point to point for any short distance in Paris. These are the types of things we dreamed about when we wrote about Dualism. And here it is, in Paris, working wonderfully. Let's hand it to the French for creating this great system.

And speaking of other great systems, Rahul said last night that he gets 47 days of vacation per year. Let's say that again. Rahul said last night that he gets 47 days of vacation per year. To all of our dear friends in other places around the world, who wouldn't want that? It's amazing. Just wonderful.

I suppose we better start improving our French...

Tumhaaraa hamesha,
-Daniel
