Today was our first full day in London. I loved that we only had a very rough agenda with places we might see, but no definite plans that we had to follow. I think that flexibility allowed for us to adapt and have a really nice day.
It's really amazing that so many of the museums and galleries in London are free. We weren't even planning to, but we spent some time in one of the art galleries, which was great. And then the British museum. Seeing the Rosetta stone and the Parthenon was great! Then at the last minute we caught the train to Hogwart's!
And speaking of serendipity, we got to meet Ridhi and her partner Hanna. The only reason we got to meet is because Ridhi happened to read our blog and got in touch with us. Who would have thought? We've had so many great additions to our trip in meeting people - Bawa and Nayana included. And we were lucky enough to get extra time with Gayti, Paul, and Seren. So if any other friends or family read this, please let us know so we can meet you.
We made it to the brick lane market today in Shoreditch. A helpful find thanks to Ridhi. It's only open on Sundays, so we were lucky to be here today. It was unbelievable to see the amazing diversity of street food from every corner of the world. I've never seen anything like it! This enormous street fair felt like being in Delhi.
Once again, I'm grateful for all of these new experiences, and so glad to experience them together!
