Dear Dan,
I didn't think I would write a letter titled as such, but here I am, lamenting or composing an ode about my gut.
My gut finally registered that it's resident bacteria has some competition - from Nepali bacteria.
Anyhow, I will spare you the details except that as I lay holding my belly in bed, I listened to the loudest thunderous thunder I have ever heard! I got scared and thought of Julie Andrews singing about raindrops on roses and then I didn't feel so bad. Then, I closed my eyes and drifted into a dance of pitters and patters and sent you some rainy smiles.
Love you,
Suparna
P.S. - the situation in Nepal is still bad...
